Rev. 05 - Replaces the image that mysteriously disappeared from Linden Lab's server. The image is now included in the object's inventory so that you can easily download a backup copy.

It was a lovely Independence Day weekend. The weather was perfect and the seagulls were raining terror down on tourists. Crystal and Cammy took the ferry out to the island with hopes of having a fun Fourth of July weekend out there in the sand and surf.

They were having a great time, dancing to the music before they went swimming in the ocean, when this ne'er-do-well griefer showed up, clearly intent on spoiling their fun with his childish attention-seeking behavior. (Just look at that black T-shirt, a clear indication that this character is up to no good!)

But, try as he might, the jerk was not able to spoil their fun! They just ignored him! They were wearing the Movelock HUD!

So, let me say this about that...

Add this item to your outfit and touch to turn on move lock. This will keep other avatars from pushing you around. (In actual practice, we found that you'll probably want to switch off the HUD when teleporting. The script does not stop executing entirely when you do this, so it should still be running if you teleport into a no-scripts zone.)

WARNING: Don't run this item and Firestorm's built-in Movelock feature at the same time. (Unless, of course, you really enjoy seeing your avatar do strange things.)

The illustration shows some of the tests we tried. The reticles on the ground are unscripted prims that I used to see if I could knock Crystal or Cammy away from their current positions. Crystal was running Singularity and animating both avatars with her Huddle. We tested it with Cammy running Singularity, Firestorm, and Radegast.

In all cases, I was unable to budge them. I couldn't even make their dance animations become unsynchronized. If they had muted and derendered my avatar, they might not have even known I was there. So we're pretty confident this thing works nicely.

If you have some basic building and advanced scripting skills, you can use the script in a different object. The script must be in a HUD item or in something attached to your avatar, and you need to be in a script-enabled region to start the script. Once started, it ought to work everywhere you go. Note that the script retextures the visible face when you turn it on or off.

Just WEAR or ADD it to your current outfit. By default, it attaches to the bottom center HUD position.

You can edit the item to resize it or move it on your screen.
