[Murrious] - Fox Head (Boxed)

Figured I would add a new review to the mix! The scripts all work just fine and this head is really easy to work with. The notecard link to the PSDs no longer seems to work but it comes with a fullperm texture in the box anyway which is just as good imo!

As mentioned above, the marketplace version being sold has NO SCRIPTS included. The HUD only operates the eye color and NOTHING ELSE. This product is BROKEN.

I tried getting support over this issue to get a working model, and I'm just getting the run-around and being told I'm doing something to disable the scripts instead. I've rezzed several heads in multiple locations, worn them straight out of the box, always in script-enabled zones, and the result is the same.

Save yourself a headache and don't bother.

Given this is a head for modding, I feel this should go first - the head takes up a whopping 324 prims/LI when rezzed.

In wireframe mode, it's almost completely opaque, and this is all just for smoothing. Poly density needs to be cut by at least half, and even then it would be too high. It would be better served using the current mesh to bake down a normal map onto something with a sane amount of detail.

The head looks nice, textured and styled well, but may be missing its listener script. I was unable to get the HUD to do anything to it, or get the jaw to move with speech, despite being in a scripts-enabled area.
The included shape has the eyes generally matched up, but there are see-through gaps on the outside eyelid corners and when camming straight down on the head.

Isn't compatible with popular rigged mesh hair brands, and since it is rigged mesh itself, you can't adapt it to fit. Have to stick to sculpt or unrigged hair.

In short: Very good work on the art, but technical factors let it down massively.
