The Modifiable Muscle Male Body is a modifiable fitted mesh body with texture layouts based on the classic texture templates. The body has the potential for more muscle volume than classic avatars. Muscle mass, body fat, and other volumetric parameters can be changed using the shape sliders. At the waist, wrists, ankles and neck it is similar to classic avatars, so it is possible to combine Muscle and classic body parts, though there will likely be minor seam visibility. Apply your skin and tattoo textures to the model using the "Edit" feature on your viewer. The model is a single piece of mesh with separate surfaces for neck, chest, waist, right arm, left arm, hands, legs and feet. Classic Upper, Lower and Head texture files can be applied. Set the surface transparency to 100 if you don't want to see a particular body part. Use the included Invisible Avatars to control the visibility of the classic avatar. Please note that "skins" and classic clothing can now be applied directly to the model. Change the texture type to "bake", and take advantage of this amazing new feature!
For best results combine with any of the fitted mesh heads sold at Channel P for a complete mesh avatar.
Not Perfect, But Still Pretty Damn Good
Let me start by saying that I've been using this body for around 2 years or so... And let me say that while it's not exactly what I want, it still gets close to what I want and it's one of the few bodies I've used that has little problems with it.
I'm someone who wants a muscular body, but doesn't want what everyone else offers; the stereotypical super-wide shoulders and huge arms with everything else being tiny and forgotten (especially the legs and thighs). What Studio P offers with their body is a lot more balanced, when you thicken the body, you actually get a good, thick figure. Granted, I don't get the exact thick, "bear" body like I want, but it's close, and it can work with nearly all the accessories and clothes I've bought, no thanks to the SL texturing system the body uses.
I think my only real complaints with the body is that you'll need to create your own alphas if you want to wear boots because the calves can be really thick and poke through the boots, as well as if you try to add a gut to yourself, it will look weird because of the abs built into the model. Overall, this is a great mesh for anyone who wants a muscular body that isn't overdone in muscles.
Maybe the folks at Studio P will create a body that is more to my liking, but until then, I've got this one, and it's worth all the lindens you spend on it.
