- There are now 2 versions in this package. Some people didn't like the randomized stop sound, so i added one without.

- Works only on hard surfaces, not on grass (as it should!)
- Only uses a fraction of script time = no lag!
I wrote my own script some time ago for heel sounds. There are a couple out there that do the job well enough but none of them were realistic in my eyes.
This heel sound is a small prim that attaches to your right foot and is completely hidden.
This heel sound script only works on hard surfaces! This means that if you walk on linden land, you won't hear anything. It only works when you're walking on a prim, sculpt, or mesh object. In other words anything other than linden land!
This makes it in my eyes more realistic, because your heels don't make a sound when you're walking on grass, dirt or snow, etc :)
Hint; you don't have to wear the prim, if you have shoes that are modifiable, then you can just take the script from the prim and put it in one of your shoes and you will have the same result. (PS: it doesn't have to be a shoe, any modifiable item will work, as long as it is attached to your avatar, not as a hud.)

Not perfect, but I don't think you could possibly do better for the price. I've seen walkers that cost ten times more that don't have adjustable speed/volume.

This addon is inexpensive and really adds that small touch that's missing with wearing heels in SL, the sound syncs perfect with my footsteps with just a little bit of tuning the speed with the included HUD and the sound is perfect, not too overbearing like some other products out there, cannot recommend enough!!! ~Maura

Updated version works perfectly
The creator sent me the updated version and I have to say it works really well. The new version also comes with a hud that lets you adjust the speed and volume of the heel sound so you can match it to your avatar's walking pace. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a realistic heel sound!
