I am proud to present the Tropical Beach Building Set. This set is all about realistically merging green tropical lands to white sand beaches. It allows you to create a rich level of detail which cannot be achieved using just SL terrain.
Gentle waves lap on to the contours of the sloping beach and darken the sand. The sound of waves washing takes you far away.
There are 7 main beach pieces in the set, each includes sand, animated wave and sound - all meshed together for a detailed and realistic effect.
The set is designed for both large scale sim projects and smaller projects too - optimised pieces are included to give you best best prim count/ physics at different sizes.
Physics are accurate so you can walk on the beach sections without falling through or hitting barriers.
In the box:
7 main beach pieces - with mapped animated waves and sound
64 meters - 10 to 13 li (prims) for each beach/ wave section.
or
32 meter - 4 to 6 li for each beach/ wave section.
1 Grassy Outcrop - 1 li (for linked pair)
plus a sea bed section
Note these pieces are optimised to give accurate physics at supplied size and make the best of SL's systems - you can use 32 or 64 meters depending on your scale. Use the size closest to you final size - ie do not use a 32m section scaled up to 64 meters or vice versa.
Please note that size changes to mesh items can result in an increased prim count.
Does not include water (but does include waves)

Great set to make a proper tropical beach. Unfortunately, the part towards the ground is very high, so I suggest building the beach FIRST, then levelling the ground to the right height and only at the end build your buildings. Otherwise you will have the buildings below the level of the beach. In any case, if you think about what tropical beaches look like, you will also understand why the part towards the ground is high. So I don't see this as a flaw, but you have to pay attention to the construction sequence of your land.
Way too tall
Kind of hard to work with, tight slope and bank being quite tall
