Love it
I absolutely love this tail that I just bought. The options for the different looks of it are far and away the best I've seen in Second Life ever. My one gripe that I have about it is with all the different style options and animation options coloring it is so mundane. The only option you have is click the color wheel. Yes I know it has an infinite amount of texture options but I wanted a white tail with pink tips at the end and with this it's impossible for me to get that look. I don't do Photoshop so I can't create textures or anything. I'm hoping that soon there will be an update giving me the option to use more than one color.
Unlimited Tail Works
This is a great product, easily worth twice what Nadi's charging. Far and away better than other tails I've come across that use a billion differently posed meshes and just flip through them using an alpha change (they create a huge amount of graphical lag). I would guess that creating a lizard/dragon/smooth version of this tail would present a few problems, but it's something I'd love to see (as I use mostly dragon and shark avatars).
My ONLY complaint is the script time, as I noted in the comments of SilverSin's review of this product. Even with the HUD detached, and measuring ONLY the tail, it returns an unholy script time that only drops at thousandths of a millisecond per second (A better measure of the load the script is generating on the server than pure script time). I very much doubt that this can be reduced and still keep the fluid, non-flip-page movement that sets this apart from all others, but I would love to be proved wrong!
