Notecard-Based Text Message Blackboard
Display one or more pages of text using this 40x12-character message board. Set the text in one or more notecards inside. The board will show each page with a 45-second time interval, or any interval you find appropriate.
The blackboard is highly customizable. You can even use your own font. A notecard with instructions is included.
Everything is Mod/Copy. The script is only Copy.
WARNING! For those who forget to read the 'Prim Count' on the right, here's another reminder: the board has a land impact of 31. This is because it can display 480 characters. The purpose of this board is not just to display a single static page of text. A simple texture upload would suffice for that. Instead, this board eliminates the need to upload several L$10 textures, if more pages of text need to be displayed and changed on a regular basis.
EXTRA! If you just want a 4 LI-board, just remove the script and unlink the character prims. Add a transparant cube and put a texture with your text on it.

I had a specific reason to pick this up, and it works well for my purpose and you can't beat the price. I would have given this 5 stars but I only had 1 concern with it. For my purpose, I only wanted to click on it to advance to the other notecards. The way it automatically goes to the next one isn't completely beneficial to me. I still used it, but i wish there were a way that it could be updated so it doesn't auto refresh and you can pick an option to click to advance and the current automatic.
Would give it ten stars if I could.
I was looking for an easy way to keep track of classes and events that I was interested in. A sign of some kind kept in or by my house seemed the best way to do that. After trying several other signboards and blackboards, I happened on this one. It's perfect!!! Since it obtains its text from notecards, it's very easy to add new lines or change existing ones. You can have more than one page, and it will cycle through them. You can also click on the board to get it to cycle as needed. It's amazingly useful and extremely user friendly. For the price, it's a steal.
