Display one or more pages of text using this 40x12-character message board. Set the text in one or more notecards inside. The board will show each page with a 45-second time interval, or any interval you find appropriate.
The board is highly customizable. You can even use your own font. A notecard with instructions is included.
Everything is Mod/Copy. The script is only Copy.
Check out the blackboard version below too!
WARNING! For those who forget to read the 'Prim Count' on the right, here's another reminder: the board has a land impact of 31. This is because it can display 480 characters at once. The purpose of this board is not just to display a single static page of text. A simple texture upload would suffice for that. Instead, this board eliminates the need to upload several L$10 textures, if more pages of text need to be displayed and changed on a regular basis.

This is really great!
The only thing that could make it better is to include additional background textures and an easy text color and background texture changer. For L$10 tho you can't beat it. Hopefully the author will make a Pro version with more features (and a higher price of course)
Nifty Tool
I need it for a schedule that can change from time to time. It is very easy to update by updating the notecard. Also, I like that I can control how many seconds until the image changes. It seems versatile and practical. it is also resizable. It was huge out of the box, but it scaled down nicely to the size I needed. Performance wise, I am mildly concerned about the 0.02 ms script time, but considering all that it does, I guess that is not too bad. overall a great tool.
Great little product
It does exactly what it says, simple to use, easy to rez highly recommended if you want
a simple message board
Brilliant!
I grabbed the chalkboard version, too, and both look great and are really simple to set up - so nice to just be able to rez out a quick message without having to make textures. A total bargain, and would still be for a lot more than L$10 - thank you!
It's great!
All TBF stuff is so well-made and this is no exception. Practical, looks good and it's not a lag bomb. And it's practically free!
Cool concept, good execution
I don't know what the 1-star review person was smoking, because I thought this was a great implementation of a message board that runs on a series of notecards for messages. Much more convenient than text-based updates of a board. I've experimented with it for descriptions of movies for a movie theater, tinkered with it for the marquee... I keep thinking back to it as a useful tool for that need. Also experimented with using it to display my stories from notecards, but not enough space... but that doesn't mean I'm going to 1-star it. No, it just doesn't fit that particular need. I rate it 5 stars because it's easy to use, provides a flexible solution to several needs, and is a great value for the effort the creator put into it. 31 prims may seem a lot for a small lot parcel, but works well for a big place. And uploading a new image each time is 10L... this is 10L total. It's worth cutting down the prims from the main build to shoehorn this in. Replace that primmy poseball sofa with a mesh one, repeat a few times... boom, you got room for this, and your furniture looks nicer, too. Well done, Ard. -ls/cm
