This Starry Night star system is a huge off-sim item that spans 1.6 km. You can use it on island regions (single till 2x2) as an enhancement of the sunset, night and sunrise sky.
A remote control allows you to change all kinds of setttings: rotation speed, brightness, glow, moon phase, position on Earth (lattitude), time zone etc. Moon can change phase automatically (one full cycle per week).
Consist of seven parts: stars, meteors (shooting stars), constellations, planets, satellites, the moon and the complete Milky Way.
It can be used in the sky and at ground level. It's a revolving sphere, so please beware part of it will be visible under your build as well.

This is worth every single linden and more. We bought this along with the Sweet Valley sim surround and it looks absolute stunning. The comets are awesome shooting across the sky.

Magnificent Sky and Terrific CustomerService
Recently we built in the sky above our sim so that we could leave our shopping plaza and venue open 24/7. We lost our beautiful sky at that height and missed it so much at the venue. I sent a notecard to Som asking if was possible to rez a second one at the altitude we chose for the venue. And wow... He said it would work. I was nervous about doing it, but he was online and offered help if I had a problem. No problem at all. It was all seamless. I and so happy this worked. Thank you a hundred times over Som for a beautiful creation and being right there to help if I needed it.
I tried the demo on this item and decided on the spot that it was something I just had to have. When I rezzed it on our sim, I had some problems with some of my scripted items. I reset the scripts but had to delete Starry Nights to get everything running smoothly. I was so disappointed because I very much wanted to share the beautiful sky with others. Upon learning of my problems, Sominel Edelman wrote to me and wanted to check everything out. He arrived this morning and worked with me until everything checked out. I now have my incredibly beautiful sky and cannot say enough good things about this creator. If you are thinking about purchasing this item, you can't go wrong. Customer service is tremendous. extraordinarily well-made
it borderline fixes Second life' somewhat mundane windlight on its own; pairs great with many of them too right out of the box. No complaints on my end, it's worth the money.
