This Starry Night star system is a huge off-sim item that spans 1.6 km. You can use it on island regions (single till 2x2) as an enhancement of the sunset, night and sunrise sky.
A remote control allows you to change all kinds of setttings: rotation speed, brightness, glow, moon phase, position on Earth (lattitude), time zone etc. Moon can change phase automatically (one full cycle per week).
Consist of seven parts: stars, meteors (shooting stars), constellations, planets, satellites, the moon and the complete Milky Way.
It can be used in the sky and at ground level. It's a revolving sphere, so please beware part of it will be visible under your build as well.

- Adjust brightness and glow yourself or depending on region environment settings
- EEP (Environment Enhancement Project) Enabled. Make sure to use night settings!

Ok so.. I wanted a cool city vibe... First I found his full sim City surround. Freaking AMAZING! Why not turn it up a notch? I added this starry night and voila. PERFECTION! I am so pleased. Boring where? Lol Great quality and wonderful price considering all the work I imagine it took to create this gem. Thanks-

an update would be awesome for additional galaxy textures.
My only issue is the setting it to automatically show based on star brightness or sun, even with max brightness on stars. it doesn't glow as bright as i would like at night. When you set it to manual it blows out the daytime sky and doesn't hide itself during the daytime naturally.
Perhaps a full bright option for the galaxy would help it be more noticeable during the night time on automatic.
The best star system in Second Life!
You can control how the dome rotates and turn off/on all elements such as planets, constellations, moon and much more. Also it allows you to adjust the brightness of the dome to suit every need, if you want your windlight back turn the brightness down and the dome will disappear and your old windlight settings will show along with the horizon, you never have to remove it from your sim.
Example: Brightness 50%, Windlight 3pm (Firestorm)

The brightness menu range from 0-100% so you can completely hide everything with the hud
Stunning
This is worth every single linden and more. We bought this along with the Sweet Valley sim surround and it looks absolute stunning. The comets are awesome shooting across the sky.
