This product contains instructional videos for the Makehuman to SL Project. It is not an automatic solution to remap to the SLUV, please read this page before buying. It is a tutorial series ONLY, with some content as examples.

This is an ongoing video series that I'll continue to update for some time. Along with it will be items/objects associated with the progression of the work.

I am using 3ds Max 2017. Many of the techniques here can be translated into other 3d packages. Two of the major tools I use here are available in Maya and Blender 3d. Nothing fancy is required in order to complete this tutorial. Most of the procedure are just time savers.

If something is not clear during the tutorial process I am willing to create a more detailed video in that particular area if an explanation is not helpful enough.

= Notecard preface, explaining some detail and giving a list of video urls to watch in some order and URLs for extra content

= A number of notecards with their names matching the videos and the text I used in those videos (for easy translation)

= A Makehuman uploaded mesh body (skinned/rigged) as an example of the progress for part of the SLUV

= Download link for items I'm using in the video including the classic SL mesh av and some links to tools I am using

Topics Covered

= Preparing the Second Life classic mesh in a way that makes it easier to work with (you'll wonder what the heck I'm doing)
= Cutting up the MH UVW map into compatible shells/islands
= Mesh manipulation using various tools and techniques
= Transferring part of the UVW map from the SL avatar mesh to the MH mesh (you may not have known this is possible)
