The online tracker will change colors and hovertext whether your online or offline. It will either be green with "<yourname> is online. Touch to send a message now" or red with "<yourname> is offline. Touch to leave a message for later". Either way it will listen to them for 30 seconds for their message, displaying time left in hovertext. If your online, it will send the message to you, which will show up in green text in your chat area. If your offline, it will be stored for later. When you come online, it will tell you the number of messages saved. Just touch the tracker to bring up a dialog system to display the messages, allowing you to go though them and delete one at a time or all at once. The system will return to normal after clicking the "Done" button, or 60 seconds after last command.
