See item in Second LifeMy fave skybox! I wish it was a guest house version, with this layout.
Maple skybox layout is better most of the houses I own. A simple dinner area, open space kitchen, living area with foyer, leading to either 2 bedrooms the kitchen or living room. If there was anything I could say is about Maple is that the bathroom is a lil snug but overall its beautiful. I strongly suggest that Onsu next small guest homes have a layout similar to this one. It don't have to be 2 bedrooms, 1 bedroom would do with a good amount of space for a private bathroom and a suggested space for a open kitchen.
Onsu ~ "Maple" Skybox Review by Lia Lupindo
This looks nice only from the inside. The outside has tall brick pillars that stick out and look ridiculous. It could have been created more neatly, in my opinion. Still it is a very nice skybox. When you are inside you don't notice all the brick pillars outside. There is a fireplace, but it is a decoration only. For $1,000L I believe the fireplace should be able to be turned on and off. It is modifiable so you can change whatever you want, but it is also my believe that for a $1,000L price tag it should come boxed so that when it is rezzed you don't need to modify a thing. I still think this one is nice enough to give it 4 stars. It is low prim, copy and modifiable. It's mesh and looks high quality.
Great skybox excellent value for money
Having viewed both this and the Walnut skybox inworld i loved both but was torn between Li and more usable space.
On impulse i went with this skybox and it's more usable space i wouldn't have bought it if i didn't love it but there are a couple of changes i'd make to make it even more perfect such as
Remove the fireplace, make the bathroom bigger however i could work round them
These small niggles aside what i love about this skybox is the space the no environment version comfortably fits on a 1024 plot if you want an environment on that sized plot a hollowed out prim cube with a nice scene texture applied will do the job .
All the rooms and areas in this skybox are wonderfully spacious and easy to decorate with bay windows in most rooms, though i would have preferred there were no aperture between the kitchen & dining area the island unit from the Roost Palm View kitchen set fortunately fits inside perfectly other kitchen islands might not be so lucky.
I was able to easily fit my furniture in even add pieces bought from stores like Roost, Primpossible, Lisp Baazar, Apple Fall etc. i have used the rooms and spaces for a kitchen, dining room, lounge, bathroom, bedroom and library it feels like a really homely place to relax
I was inworld and saw it, you should too
I have many pretty skyboxes, but this one is special. It is so many rooms, and so many details. It looks like a 150-200 LI skybox.
I have never seen anything so good yet. Either a skybox with one or two rooms, or a heavy LI skybox. The surround is so sharp and pretty. It is really a crisp and remarkable build.
This build is best suited for avatars not much bigger that six feet.
