INSTRUCTIONS:
Thank you for purchasing The OPERATOR Online Indicator and Messenger System.
Each individual indicator, which will be referred to as a Board Entry, has three parts: The role, the avatar image, and the online indicator.
To set up your board, you will need to fill out your configuration notecard.
You may name the card whatever you wish, but it must be the first card in the inventory. If you have other cards in the inventory, you can move the config card to the top by beginning the name of it with "!" or "0" or something like that, as they are sorted alphabetically.
Each entry begins with a key word, such as "entry:". These key words are case sensitive and must be written precisely as shown. Please pay attention to the spelling and case of the key words, and keep a copy of the sample notecard for reference.
Below, are some settings you will need to enter:
Roles/Titles/Ranks:
Included in your folder, is a template to make a roles texture. It has 6 rows and 2 columns. A sample with numbers on it will show you which order to put your roles in. A texture with some common roles is included, but if you need custom roles, or ones not included, then you will need to make your own roles texture.
To download the Operator Roles Template, open it in your inventory, and click on "Save" to download it.
When you make your entries, in your configuration notecard, you will be able to put the UUID or name of your texture there. If you use the name, you will need to make sure to put the texture in the board's inventory.
Here is an example entry for the roles texture:
roles_texture:5c44c0dc-0ad9-a746-195a-d064d6625fc3
or, if you want to use the texture name:
roles_texture:Roles Template Numbered
Unused Entry Texture:
There is an unused entry texture UUID included in the sample configuration card. You can change it to suit your own style by replacing the UUID with your own, or the name of a texture. If you use the name, you will need to make sure to put the texture in the board's inventory.
Here is a sample of the unused entry texture entry:
unused_entry_texture:5748decc-f629-461c-9a36-a35a221fe21f
Avatar Image:
You will need to get or make an image for each avatar. This allows you to control the appearance of your board and how the people on it represent you and your business. When you make avatar entries in the notecard, you can use the UUID of the image or the name. If you use the name, you will need to make sure to put the texture in the board's inventory.
Hovertext for Board Entries:
You have the option to put names on your images but, if you choose not to, you may wish to use the hovertext_names option, which will put each entry's name in hovertext. Input TRUE or FALSE to use hovertext to show names.
Here is a sample entry.
hovertext_names:TRUE
Online Indicator:
The texture for the online indicator is pre-made and cannot be changed. The three indications are: Offline, Online (and in the sim where the board is), and Not in Region (but online).
Making Avatar Entries:
Each avatar board entry consists of 4 items.
The format for an avatar board entry is:
entry:name, User_UUID, Role_Number, Image_UUID_or_Name
Here is a sample of an avatar board entry:
entry:itoibo, a9780071-adcf-49f4-a862-a3f48bfd43d7, 5, 40c5d7a9-8738-60d0-cdaa-71769d3063c1
You may include a space between entry items or not, i.e. "itoibo,uuid,role_number,imageid" or "itoibo, uuid, role_number, imageid" are both fine.
To space your avatar board entries, use "entry:unused". For instance, if you want to put an unused entry between others, to have a new entry start on a new row, you can enter entry:unused as many times as you need. You do not need to input entry:unused for any leftover spaces on the board. They will be assumed to be unused.
Messaging:
When someone wants to contact someone from the board, they just touch that person's avatar entry, and a menu will pop up with a link to IM the person. This allows IMs to be sent in their own windows so they will not be lost in chat.
Thank you, again, and if you have any questions, please contact itoibo in Second Life and, if you like this product, please leave a review on the SL Marketplace.

This Is Exactly What I was Looking For
Our original staff board quickly became full. After a lot of research I found AZN Scripts, Building Tools & Games. Am I glad I did. They produce Staff boards for up to 20 members of staff, but...... they are so low land impact that you can easily add another one for another 1, 2, 3, 5, 10, 15 or 20 members of staff.
I had tried doubling up on my previous staff board, that would have amounted to 68 Land Impact. AZN's with x2 20 boards would equal 22 Land Impact.
Not only is this Staff Board the best, in my humble opinion, but the support is fantastic too.
I would have given 10 stars if it were possible.
Now I am really interested to see the other products on their store.
Great job AZN!
Very good
I was happ to find out that the board is proposed in many version from 1 entry only up to 20. Easy setup after reading the sample notecard, and i enjoy to be able to change the roles names! It is perfect for my store.
