A lovely heart shaped salon table in the style of Louis XV.

Initially an extension of the previous periods, the Louis XV style gained a look of its own with the Rococo, noted for its asymmetry, sinuous lines and excessive ornamentation. Over the years the style became more sober and symmetrical, a prelude of Neoclassicism.
