[P.0.E] - Ravenbrook Cottage Crate

I was looking for a low prim Scottish type home with some interesting details. This house is it! Price is a bit steep but worth it. The time and care was put into this build.

Same as with the Idlewood Cottage, I wanted this cottage with the intent to replace my more "modern" home, with something a little older. After searching and searching for something on MP that was "rustic" / "traditional" European, but WASN'T Medieval, and DID have a more reasonable, modern interior layout... I finally took a chance!

As described, it has the two simple rooms - a living room and a bedroom. All textures come material enabled, with baked shadows, which the included lighting objects truly make pop! The interior walls are nice and bright, with dark hardwood floors and beams. It feels very modern, and not at all dreary.

I got the cottage hoping the outside stone would look a little lighter in-person, but unfortunately, it is rather dark. Being a modder myself, I reached out to the creator (Alex) for either assistance or permission to edit the texture myself - and he gave me permission to make the adjustment! I am quite thrilled with that, as I have other lighter buildings on my property that I hope to better match. ^^

While this build is a rental, we love it for its charm so much that we also bought its larger relative, the Idewood Cottage for our forever home in SL on one of our private sims. I have been designing for eight years, and have had the pleasure to come across some of the finest artists in SL. Ravenbrook and Idlewood are outstanding accomplishments of what can happen when an artist cares enough to pay attention to all the little things that add up. Absolutely exquisite!
