Just purchased the PA-18 Super Cub Amphibian this evening and love everything about the plane . It flies and operates as smooth as butter and would highly recommend it to anyone I know or anyone looking for a light fun plane as a first plane or for something to add to their collection. You won't be disappointed ! Great sounds, Great Effects , Just a Great Plane !

Definitely one of the best aircraft in Second Life, the PA-18 is an extremely fun and stable aircraft to fly. Its about as far from the standard on-rails experience as you can get and I'm loving every minute of it. If you're looking for a detailed, well-built model combined with the best flight physics in SL look no further. I'm only sad I didn't get it sooner!

Great plane! Just like the real thing.

This is one of the few aircraft in my collection that I can count on 100%, both this version and the conventional gear version always get me to my destination without fail. They cross sim boarders almost like they aren't even there, and I've never had a problem flying it in lag. As far as the flight script goes, it flies just like a real PA-18. This isn't an aerobatic aeroplane by any means, but it's fairly maneuverable by general aviation standards. Just like it's RL counterpart it is a fairly small aircraft. This is due to it's intended role as a "Light Utility Aircraft". It's low weight gives it a rather short takeoff run and a decent cruising speed with a low powered engine. These things are reflected in the scripting. The ability to use the rudder and adjust elevator trim are also welcome additions that you don't find on many (if any) other aircraft in SL. If you are interested in a realistically flying aircraft that can also survive the horrors of mainland flying, this is the plane for you!

Great plane, great price, a bit too small.

This is a great plane with realistic flight, smooth sim crossings, great splash effects on the pontoons. I flew this plane for an hour over the blake sea with no issues. I love this plane. My only problem is it needs to be bigger. My head goes through the roof and feet through the bottom. I don't have this problem with my other planes. My avi is 7ft tall so I tried to make myself smaller and I was still a bit to big for this plane. It even looks small next to my other planes and vehicles. Great plane, great price, hopefully a version upgrade will come out that is a little bigger.
