[PBR] The Maldives 1/4 Sim Surround 8.0 Version 8.0

This is a set of ten tropical quarter sim surround landscapes.

These landscapes have PBR-GLTF materials, which are visible when using a viewer of version 7 or higher. These PBR textures give trees and landscape elements more realistic surfaces, with better lighting and reflections.

They also have regular, old-style (Blinn-Phong) normal and diffuse textures. This means they also look good on older viewers or viewers with PBR materials deactivated.

The land forms of these landscapes are very detailed, which makes your environment more natural and immersive.

After rezzing a landscape, a menu pops up that allows you to finalize (remove all unneeded scripts) or delete the landscape. Touching any part of the landscape for a second will bring up the menu as well. The root prim is invisible and can be found at a height of 80 meters (60 above water level).

There is NO HUD to switch between layouts or to other seasons (these landscapes are tropical, without seasons). This pack has various layouts available, you will find them in your item's folder. Simply rez and delete one after the other to go through them.

You can mix and match them any way you like. They don't interfere with each other, and their dimensions (i.e. tree size) and used materials are all the same. Move and rotate them as much as you want, within your region's limits.

There are also single islands with waterfalls in your folder. You can rez those as add-ons of other layouts. Rotate and move them to make your tropical backdrop look great!

All landscape items are copyable. Make sure to keep a copy in your inventory so you can't lose it (but also can't give it back for a refund... get a free demo first!)

WHERE TO USE THEM

These landscapes are made of mega prims. They may go over other people's land, please respect your neighbors! Other regions that are close to yours on the world map, but that do not share one full side with it will NOT be affected. Therefore, regions that only touch at the corners are not a problem.

You can use them on homesteads and full regions
