As each avatar is a different size you may wish to adjust sit position. Type /1a into local chat and choose from the drop down 'Menu'

Position Adjust
X Adjusts Forward or Back Position from the Chair.
Y Adjusts Left or Right Position from the Chair.
Z Adjusts height Up or Down Position from the Chair.
++ Add Double Movement
