Perfect modern day sedan for the modern day family
full star full star full star full star empty star Posted February 19, 2017 by Xan Exonar

These are the type of cars I prefer in SL. A lot of people try to push the latest supercar or uber luxury car, however, I am quite happy with a modern day interpretation of the traditional, full size sedan. I don't think you need to be into cars to know what this vehicle is based off. The Banshee is a handsome car and is best suited to typical family life - Ferrying the kids around and just general cruising on mainland routes or even on the roads of an RP sim.

I was a bit disheartened though when I saw the interior of the car. The usual large tablet you normally get in these cars has been replaced with what looks like something even a teenager would find a bit tacky and although there is no problem with a touchscreen tablet (the hire car I used recently had a large touchscreen infotainment system), it has left a lot of dead space underneath it which seems a bit unrealistic and has even hidden the centre air vents which now appear rather redundant. Some physical controls or even a CD player prop under the tablet wouldn't have gone amiss just to make the interior a little nicer. The speaker system in the trunk of the car is also not to my personal liking and there not being an option to hide this means using the trunk in an RP setting can be a little embarrassing.

Overall though, this is a very good car. It has replaced my previous vehicle and takes pride of place in the garage. It is very good to drive. The vehicle comes with the usual manual and automatic transmissions and now even has the inclusion of two different exhaust settings. I particularly like the new system where you can put space saver wheels on the car in the event of a "flat tyre" or even remove the wheels altogether, adding to the RP immersion that this vehicle offers.

Positives: Good looking car. Wheel change system. Decent drive. Selection of gearboxes and engine notes

Negatives: Unattractive tablet. Sound system in the trunk. Interior customisation limited to the seats only
