History:
The Freya radar was an early warning radar employed by the German military during WWII. Its purpose was to detect oncoming aircraft. It was first used in 1939 and was adapted to fit other roles or evolved to become parts of larger radar systems. It originated as the Seetakt radar that was employed by the Kriegsmarine. The Freya was named after the Norse goddess Freya, who supposedly could see in the dark. The Freya was a successful radar and was heavily employed along the Atlantic wall. It came in two variations: the pole configuration and the limber configuration. This particular model is the pole version.

This is a nice build
Looks great and augments any WW II era theme along with different camo & color and options of static or rotating. Had it since June and so far so good.
