If you want to use it as is it is fine but if you want to alter it is all one piece. It does not come with a texture you could work with either. Nor are there individual faces to change the texture except for the tap. The handles are textured with the sink so you're pretty much stuck with it as is. Disappointed as it is a nicely made sink, but I couldn't use it for what I had planned.
