Penny Wise the Dancing Clown , the terrifying white-faced clown. As the story goes, Penny Wise was actually the psychic projection of an alien creature ("It") living in the sewers of the small 1960s town of Derry, Maine. Every 30 years the creature awoke from hibernation and lured young children to their doom. Penny Wise is a villain that will have you running under the blankets in terror. You just might be taking a shower one day or walking near a drain and notice a balloon, but if you see him poking out with those unsightly sharp teeth, run for your life!
