There are many ways to frame a picture in SL. Most of the simple ones look very blocky. So do the more complicated ones, and they use up several prims too. THIS frame, however, has a classic molded cross-section, is perfectly mitered at the corners, and it's mesh --- only one prim equivalent. It's designed to frame artwork with 4:3 dimensions, but it can be stretched (within reason) to match images with other dimensions. Not only that, but it's scripted to make it easy to change the color of the frame itself and the color of the two decorative bands on it. A simple dialog lets you choose among nine colors and also lets you decide whether any of the colors are supposed to be matte or have a shiny, lacquered appearance.
