Pitts Special (aerobatic biplane) Version 1.9

The most spectacular, fireball & smoke crashes I have ever had in an SL aircraft, and I crash more than anyone I know! I think I learn how to fly, this will be an amazing airplane to enjoy! LOVE THIS little plane!! Thanks!

My RL flight instructor was the world's female acrobatic champion. She and her husband had identical Pitts Specials in the big hangar at their flying school. I was 15 years old then and wanted one of these ever since. And with SL, I can have one! :)

It flies well. It flies easy. If you have a guest and can talk them into wing-walking, you can do that. And the smoke system makes it a nice air show act. Yeah, maybe a few more features would be nice. It is stripped down to simplicity. It doesn't even have NAV lights or strobe. But I can live without extra features found in most planes. If you have got to have extras, there are others on the market, but this one is very reasonably priced. YOU weigh the options.

My only problem is while flying, I always wind up having script errors. Everything is going along just fine and then you get the error. The plane then tumbles out of the air and crashes in a ball of flames.

I have a I-7 9th gen CPU, Nvidia RTX-2070, 16 GB of ram and a 1 gb/sec connection. All my settings are adjusted for flying... I have a a"flaying avatar" which is stripped down for better performance so I have no idea why This is happening. I'm conscious of SIM junctions and crossings. They are not the problem.

I discussed this with the creator, who really didn't help much at all hence the 3 star rating.
