I use outfits very extensively; I have hundreds. I find the "Replace Links" feature to be very useful when I need to update some component that I use in many or all outfits. There are times when I need to add something to all outfits. It occurred to me that it would be very useful to have placeholders, the links for which I could replace, when that occurs. It also occurred to me that, since I have a mesh avatar, I have no use for most system clothing layers, and I could use them for placeholders without using up attachment points. Since they won't show anyway, I could have used any textures on them, but I made transparent ones just because I felt better using them. I did not use shoe layers because we still use them, and they affect the height of our feet above the ground. Those not using mesh heads will probly not want to use tattoo layer placeholders. I made an outfit containing only the placeholders. When I wear an outfit that doesn't already have them, I just add the placeholder placeholder outfit to it and save it.
I am making these available to everyone for free because I think they are useful, and I want to share.

Added 8/22/20: Now that we have BOM, they would show, if they were not transparent, but, since they are, they still work perfectly well.
