Decorate your study, your library, or your museum with this animated planetary orrery. The orbits and light can be toggled by simply clicking the object.
Please note that, for aesthetic purposes, neither the sizes, the distances, nor the orbital periods are to scale. For the sake of lag and land impact, the planets' axial tilts aren't fixed either.
Pluto has been removed from the orrery, as it is no longer classified as a planet by the International Astronomical Union. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pluto#2006:_IAU_classification
See item in Second LifeI love this Orrery!
It's low LI, it's awesome, and it's L$10! buy it!!!
This is one of my favorite things.
I bought both orreries and the globe and all three are among my top favorite objects that I own in SL. The movement on this one especially is utterly mesmerizing!
There Are Not Enough Stars To Review This Thing!
I am in awe. This orrery took a lot of time and effort to get its movements, textures, and distance between parts all worked out. And it's only L$10! Truly amazing.
Incredible!
At first I thought, "10 L$? Gonna be something I buy, look at, then delete."
I was so so very wrong.
The orbital periods are correct, the textures used are spot-on for the design style, it is only 5 LI, and every attention is paid to detail.
Now to figure out where in my house I should put it!
Twenty stars out of five. Perfect!
Awesome!
It's an awesome, and VERY professional product, by a ridiculous price! and only 5 prims!
Amazing
The picture does not do this item justice! Wonderfully detailed and can turn the sun on and off like a light. Price is great too!
