The Throne can be changed to 10 available colours by clicking it after you have sat.

The pose menu automatically pops up for you when you sit, however, if you close it you can get it back by clicking on the shadow prim underneath the throne.

UPDATE.
You now have the ability to toggle the security settings so that the owner can change the security level. Security cycles between ALL, GROUP ONLY, and OWNER ONLY. Avatars who do not meet security will "unsit".
