Okay, the playing area is just over 2.5 times as large as the Dutchie Chess Set, and the pieces are noticeably more visible -- "extreme zooming" is Not needed, although "close viewing" is.
10-LI with table, pieces, and two benches. The table is dark granite with inlaid white granite squares -- there's no separate board. It appears realistically sized, but still very playable.
Click a piece to lift it up (you sometimes have to change your camera angle to do this), click the square you want it to "hover" over, then click the piece itself again to "drop" it onto the square. This takes a small bit of practice.
The moves seemed quick (and I'm in a significant-lag sim).
illegal moves, checks, and checkmate were all recognized and checks/mate reported in Nearby Chat. You can't castle to get out of check -- I'm not sure that's a chess rule. After removal of a check, castling is again allowed.
Nice!
a real nice chess set with great detail and low prims, perfect! thank you!
