Doesn't work as advertised
It does work as far as making you run faster but as far as changing the color, forget it. I was not able to get it to change colors no matter how hard I tried and no matter what I did. You don't even get a conformation or anything in local saying anything.
Color Change Doesn't Work
The run speed is fine, but the particle effect is stuck on black and I just look like a high-speed tar-blob. Tried typing...

...repeatedly in local and no effect.
A bit too fast for me
I was hoping for something to just increase my speed a bit, but not enough to be able to challenge Sonic the Hedgehog >.>
