Greetings!
Getting trapped in a pool of inescapable Quicksand is a dangerous thing. But luckily you have your Rescue Rope! Be the hero and rescue the poor struggling victim from the grasp of the hungry mire! A reward will surely follow ...
Before you start:
This Rescue Rope was built to work together with Toy's Toys' Quicksand pit. It will not work with any other quicksand implementations. You don't have to use the Restrained Love viewer to be able to rescue victims.
How it works:
Put the Rescue Rope dispenser somewhere near your Quicksand pit. This is not really a prerequisite, but you want people to find the rope when they need it ... right ...? The savior clicks on the dispenser and receives their personal copy of the Rescue Rope. After attaching it to their right hand (default) they can start throwing it out to the victim. To do this, go into Mouselook mode (press M, click Mouselook at the bottom of your screen or use View / Mouselook) and click the left mouse button. The rope will be thrown out to the victim and hopefully land somewhere within their reach, about 1.5 meter from the center of their avatar. The victim can now click on the rope's end and will grasp and hang on to the rope. The rescuing will start automatically, but be careful: You might be pulled into the pit yourself due to the enormous suction of the Quicksand. Additionally, the victim might lose the rope from their grasp and end up back in the mire, sinking deeper than before. Don't cheer too much until your victim is standing safely on solid ground next to you.
