Perfect
I got this for a modification I was making to a Star Trek machine. Worked perfect as a light emittance source. Also the transfer hud that controls it, can be given to a friend and they can control it as well. Fantastic!
Looks cool and is fun!
This is just one of those things you wish you had as a child.... it works well.... can be fitted to your eyes using the edit size cubes... can be any color... or length. The only thing I wish it had was a targeting option. As it is, you can turn yourself to a general direction and 'aim' it that way, but if you could click a button on the hud and it asked you who you wanted to target it would be perfect! Still, it is a lot of fun and good conversation starter.
So-so, but not too bad.
I suppose they could be nice for some, but personally I found it odd that I was not able to actually edit linked parts, only adjust both beams at once. These are clearly made for a larger male head, by default. You CAN actually shrink them down. This makes the beam smaller of course, I would have preferred to be able to adjust the linked parts, as in each beam separately, to keep them larger and just move them to my eye positions.
The HUD is fairly large, and if it can be minimized, I have not found a way to do so. And considering that you actually have to wear the HUD or the beam turns white, and you need the 'programs' on the HUD to change the beams, or turn them off, that can be a bit of a problem for some, who don't want their HUD cluttered.
Don't get me wrong, it can look cool, and it's not a bad product. But some things could be improved upon, like a button to minimize the HUD, and the adjustment options could be better.
So cool!
I just love these. They will be especially usefull for halloween outfits/avis. I like that they are mod too!!
Awesome
Perfect for a Sci Fi outfit and choice of colours with the HUD, ty :)
