HOW IT WORKS

RADIO RAM connects to a dedicated MySQL database hosted on enterprise servers provided by YASA.FI, a Finnish technology company specializing in reliable web hosting and database solutions. When you attach the device it sends your avatar UUID to our secure server over HTTPS encryption. The server looks up your saved stream URL and returns it to the device which begins media playback automatically.
When you change your stream URL the new address transmits immediately to the database and overwrites your previous entry. This happens in real time with confirmation messages so you always know your data saved successfully.
The database stores three pieces of information per user. Your avatar UUID for identification. Your stream URL for your chosen station. Last seen timestamp for maintenance. No other data collected. Privacy respected.
