Kurung Kedah female clothes is a traditional Malay outfit. This set can be worn during informal events such as "rewang" (work for a festive event) or everyday work in the paddy fields, vegetables gardens or the orchards. Kain batik is a famous sarong for Malay ladies in the olden days. Now it is still worn by all although some only wear them during confinement period after giving birth. :D
