It's perfect. The size if realistic, it is correct, the cups fit your hand and they are handed to you (not into your inventory.
The other reviewers must be used to the "standard" RL objects that are 1.5x - 2x the proportional size of the same object in RL. The size of this tea set is both perfect sitting on a table, but also when it hands you a cup of tea.
And it does in fact "hand" you the tea! It doesn't give it to you in your inventory (don't you hate that when your inventory is cluttered up with all that junk?!). It actually places it into your hand!
This is the best Japanese tea set I found after a hour of searching. Unless you want it to be unrealistically large, you won't be disappointed.
Way too small, can't be resized.
This is NOT life-sized, the teapot could easily fit in my hand. Not useable, unfortunately.

This is life sized, as in it's small. It is very well made and the texutes are perfect. I love this tea set, it deserves the 5 star rating I gave it.
