The texturing is very detailed and shaping is workable within the limitation of SL. In order to fit the ring properly I only had to do some minor repositioning and stretching of the object on account of the wildly varying shapes that avatars come in. The end result was a piece of jewelry worth having that actually added some class to my avatar. I would definitely recommend this for people who wish to assemble a role play costume, or if they just want to make their hands look a little nicer.
