this low prim off sim scripted sail ship has just 1 prim and slow surrounds your island in a circle of 512 meters off it's rezzed center.
Take care, because it's designed to surround a whole sim to not offend your neighbours. And yes, this produces minimum lag, because movements are done clientside.

Well it works perfectly and it makes a sim looking wonderful! All my neigbors are amazed about this ship and it looks very realistic! Worth the pice and i can´t understand the last comment from that other buyer. I can only recommend this, it´s wonderful!
No instructions
Lazy programmer. No instructions. No on/off switch. Worked once and then stopped when I tried to change position. Then died again. Over priced for such limited functionality.
