The Radiation Queen is a wireless radio inspired by the Capital Wasteland's Radiation King.
The model is 100% mesh with a highest LOD of 904 triangles and a lowest LOD of 15 triangles, so it's pretty friendly to look at. The small details are surface-transferred from a high-polygon model and baked in to 6 texture variations, selectable through the menu. The radio uses materials and will look best with advanced lighting enabled.
The radio is scripted to play music, and is fed formatted notecards that contain the sound UUIDs of each song. 10 free authentic tracks have been included, and you can add as many of your own songs as you want, too.
The Radiation Queen can play songs randomly or alphabetically, once or continuously, and is simply touch to start/stop. Touching the tuning dials will change track and cause the tuning needle scan the display while it loads. Other features include an "Auto Start" option to determine whether the radio waits to be tuned when it is switched on, and a "No Music" option to prevent the radio from playing any music at all.
Tuning and static sounds can be toggled, volume can be adjusted globally or for individual tracks, and controls can be restricted to owner, group or anyone. The radio is also modifiable and can be resized, unlinked or de-scripted for use as a static prop.

I absolutely love this
I had a Radiation king made out of prims and this one here is only 2 prims and it plays some awesome songs :D
Splendid!
My only problem is that i have full songs in my inventory but they are no modify so i can't turn them into a notecard :(
Perfect
A perfect radio, very good mesh work. Excellent customer service.
I love it
After a month... I just discovered it has settings menu :D Yep, I didn't read instructions note card, heh. Now is it even more awesome than I thought.
Just what i wanted!
Ok i've had a few fallout radio's before, but normally just playing one song...and i have to say they've lacked in the atmosphere that this one has. for starters, it looks awesome and beats all my others at 2 LI. But when it starts and you hear the Ink Spots kick in with static....it just makes it so authentic! I have them set up all on random around my new post apocalyptic home and i looooove them! Would love Samuri to do some more notecards for them...hint hint ;) i'll pay ya and everything for doing that for me :D Although, instructions on how to add more are even included! Just haven't worked up the guts to try to do it yet. All round awesome 100/100!
Pure dead brilliant.
I'm going to start off by saying that I am an ENORMOUS fan of the Fallout franchise, so I am very hard to please with content built in SL. Having said that, this is one of these most beautiful pieces of Fallout work I have ever seen. Of the several Radiation Queen radios I have seen, none have been this well built or well textured. None have had as many songs, none have been so interactive. The old radio static that has been overlayed into the song is wonderfully nostalgic. I rez this every chance I get. If you are a Fallout fan then please buy this. I can promise you you will smile the second you turn it on for the first time and tuner springs to life and out of the static eather comes the beautiful sounds of The Ink Spots. It's truly wonderful.
