If you run a script on a prim that creates Hover-Text, the hover text remains after you remove or delete the script.
Drop the MZD Remove Hover-Text script into any prim and it will remove the text and then remove itself. Script is copy, so you can reuse whenever you need it!

I cant use it... the script is No mod, No copy, No trans... I cant trans it to use the script
Incredibly useful
If you do any work at all with scripted objects you'll find this of use one day, guaranteed. There's lots of hover-text removal scripts around, but this one includes a visual indication of what's going on and deserves high marks for that.
Works as advertised
Does an excellent job of removing pesky "stuck on" hover text from prims.
