Exactly what I needed
I want to put together a scene that includes an old computer, and a reel-to-reel is exactly what I need. It's easy to use and the sound is there but subtle, which I like. It isn't mod, unfortunately, but it's also very cheap, so worth 5 stars at L$10.
Looks cool but oversized. Wish it was mod or had a resizer.
I took a chance knowing this was no-mod and bought it. At this price it was worth the risk. This rezzes to be about 7.5 feet tall - not super huge but bigger than SL scale. This would look correct next to an avatar that's about 7.25-7.75 feet tall. My av is actually 5.5 feet tall, right in keeping with the scale SL was designed with (silly me). My solution was to sink it into the floor a bit so it's less towering but the tape reels are still very large. Overall the look isn't bad but this seems to be an older build so it lacks materials. For 10L it'll do.
If you are an old computer lover, this is for you... really.
The mother fuking good: It contains the glass, the reels move synchronized and the whole set is realistic style and the sound is characteristic of them. (It is exiting and idiotizing)
The Bad: You can not change the color of the cabinet.
PS: If you install it inside your house, give it a 180 turn, sometimes, you will see it from its back and not forwar.
Is it worth buying? For 10L is a great buy...
