R.icielli - Lipsticks 01

I might not be a "professional makeup artist" - and even if I were, I wouldn't feel the need to get on a little soapbox and pontificate to a well known and respected SL creator in a review - I'd behave like a professional and send them a notecard privately.

Truth is, these lipsticks look fantastic whether I wear a level 4 skin tone, level 3 or even a ghost white level 1.

The shades being used in this color template are nice on ..lighter skins. though the colors are also complimentary on 'darker' skins as well. I think being a professional make up artist I am able to give my advise when it comes to this type of "color'-discrimination. Please keep in mind darker skins can wear 24 colors where as lighter skins can only wear up to 8 colors. Surely this also depends on the over all themes on how color is used or blended. Placement is everything, but color skin tone should not be a factor when selling your product to direct sales to only one skin type. Bad upselling

I should've passed on these, very weird ugly blur on the cupid's bow of the lips. I get it, these lipsticks are supposed to give the illusion of these juicy plump full lips. Instead, they give your mouth a really gross exaggerated fake pouty mouth with colors that are not very pleasing either. I deleted most and only kept the lighter pinks, they seem to work with very light alabaster skins. But even with the lightest of skin tones I wouldn't really recommend. Unless you wanna look like a cheap whore, than they're perfect!

I love these and yes I love how they go off the top lipline.... like a small smudge, it gives it an unusual look, in my viewer I do not see what some others see, no blur at all.

These are perfectly shaped lips with awesome color. I am hoping the creator makes more of them in this shape. Thanks R.icielli!

Well...don't want to complain too much, as these lipsticks weren't expensive, and I have other R.icielly products, which I really love. But I have to agree with someone, the colours don't look really like in the pic, and they seem indeed to be slightly blurry (and no, that is not my viewer or my graphics). However, I can use two of those for myself, so 50 L is not too bad in the end. But can't really give more than 3 stars, sorry.
