In response to popular demand, I'm happy to present this River Bank Building set.
Create your own stunning winding river or lake side scene with this easy to use set. Can be used in conjunction with SL water or Skye Water System pack (see link below).

This build takes full advantage of the power of MESH to bring you detailed objects with a refreshingly low prim count.
In the box:
4 x Main river bank pieces (with a gentle slope for shallow rivers) - 3 or 4 prims each
4 x Main river bank pieces (as above but with a steep slope for deep rivers) 3 or 4 prims
2 x Filler pieces - use these to smooth out any gaps in your landscaping - 1 prim each
1 x River bed piece for use with shallow river bank pieces (not necessarily required for narrow rivers) - 1 prim each
1 x River bed piece for use with deep river bank pieces - 1 prim each
1 x Rocks - scatter these about your river bed to add interest. - 1 prim each set
Sample pieces - I've made up a few samples to get you started.
River Sound Effect pieces - Some pieces (rocks and water) have river sounds (click to turn on/off) Use these sparingly along your river if you need a little babbling in your life
Bonus Pieces
2 x Water planes - for use if building in sky or on non-terraformable land. A few people have asked if I have anything like this available so I have included these in this set as additional items.

Beautiful, but probably not good for non-builders
The textures on this set are as beautiful as all the other mesh landscaping by this creator.
I was a little disappointed at the number of prims equivalents this set would use to make the length of river I wanted & the lack of curved riverbank pieces for turns. There are extra bank pieces one could use to create a turn in the river, but I was hoping to reduce the number of prims on my land, not increase them. I found I could shrink the pieces & omit the river bottom to use fewer prims, but for people who are not used to manipulating sculpts/mesh or building streams & rivers, I wouldn't recommend this particular product.

Alex's work just gets more and more amazing. Yet another wonderful addition to my land, creating a perfect stream passing by my mill and leading into the pond (also from studio-skye), with the avenue of trees creating a walkway alongside the stream.. Perfect!

I never saw a better 'prim water' and river like that. I would love, when i could, to post my pics from my home sim here =(.... 5 stars are not enough to rate this beautiful stuff. It gives each sim a natural rl look. You can feel home. thank you so much to the creator =) more, can't wait for new stuff =)
