Greetings :)

Riv's Garden Torch is simply a little twist on the many great tiki torches that are available. At only 2 prims, it contains many features. Most of it is copy & mod, except for some of the scripts.

Clicking the pole will give you a texture option for the pole & the burner. This allows you options to make your torch fit your theme. The texture option is access controlled (see below).

Clicking the burner gives you the option of turning the torch on/off, and the sound on/off. The sounds are ambient sounds, and since the object is mod, you can remove or add sounds you wish. The menu also gives the owner the option of locking the burner, so only they can use it, instead of the public.

.. and since it is mod, you can experiment with the pole texture to give a 'shiny' effect if you select a metal texture vice a wood texture. You can also edit the torch > edit linked objects > (click the pole), and turn the 'scripts to NOT running' to disable the texture scripts, or simply delete them. This would save you some script run time, especially if you are using several torches. ..and since it is copyable, no worries, just rez a new one if you goof up :)

As alway, if you need any assistance, please feel free to contact River Brimm. (Please send notecard, as my IMs are usually capped)

Riv..

This Item contains an access controlled texture menu system.

To change textures, simply click the item, and select a texture.

To change access control, click the ACCESS button, and select either Level 0 for Everyone, Level 1 for only authorized people, or Level 2 for owner only.

To configure for Level 1, edit the object, and go to the content tab. Edit the :mptUsers notecard. Add one name per line. Be sure to then switch the ACCESS to List.

CAUTION !! CAUTION !! CAUTION !! CAUTION!!

The scripts rely on the prim names to work properly. Changing the name of the prims will disable this feature.
