Two Cliff Sets in One - INLAND and COASTAL options included.

I'm very happy to present this easy-to-use cliff building set, designed to give your land project a healthy dose of drama. The cliffs can be easily positioned together to suit your design. Optional back pieces mean you can use this set without terraforming (or remove for terraform projects).

This build takes full advantage of the power of MESH to bring you detailed objects with a refreshingly low prim count.
Please visit my inworld display to see an example of this set in use

In the box:
4 x cliff sections (with optional low detail back piece)
2 x textures versions of above - dark and light rock - for INLAND and COASTAL scenes
All with detachable back piece.
All pieces have accurate physics.

These cliff sections vary between 5 to 9 prims each (including back piece) at full size
Cliffs are average 32meters in height and can be scaled down to around 25 meters height. Have a look at the main picture - the AV will give you a sense of scale.

PLEASE NOTE BEFORE BUYING: these are LARGE cliffs designed to be used at around the SUPPLED SIZE (not scaled down to very small size - which will increase LI).

If you are looking for smaller rocks please see my Cliff & Tower set (link below)

You can create a stunning decor with this set. I love the fact that you can add your own rock texture.
My advice is that this set is suitable for a big space only. Try to check the scale carefully in world ! Of course you can reduce the size but then the effect is less impressive and useful if turned to "tiny".

I've been building sims since I came to SL in 2007. Generally I build out stuff myself but Alex's stuff is so good it begs to be used.

I didn't find your market sooner, me and a friend go through phases with our land but end up with a forestry like motive for it and could not find any good mountains or hills , just found your market bought some of your product and it is amazing. thank you for your creative products and i will return for more. :)

I purchased Alex's Boulder set and couldn't be happier there and will probably be buying other products of his soon. :) I bought this for just one large standing cliff as a setting for a waterfall, however the backing on it is tremendous in terms of depth -- I want to say about 8x the volume of the cliff face itself. Takes up way too much space for my 30m x 30m plot I had set aside. The backing is easily stretched without raising prim count, but since the 2 pieces aren't solid, just faces and scooped out, you're left with the dilemma of getting them to match up which probably isn't going to happen without some piece sticking out somewhere. I think I've learned by trial that I prefer 360 degree pieces. Much easier to piece together. Yes, higher prim count for mesh all the way around, but not as many limitations. I wasn't able to detect the size of the backing flying around the wonderful sim, these rocks all seem to be facing out. Best to be used as he has set up, a cliff wall that forms a small mountain, or as some reviewers have stated, as a border. Maybe I'll be able to use them all around as a base for a skybox so only the cliff faces are facing out.

I have a REALLY high parcel. We're talking 50 meters high. And then just sea. These were EXACTLY what I needed to stop that 'floating land' feel . I attached them to prim rods and shoved them off parcel into the ocean and they look beautiful and at a pretty low total prim cost ( 70 or so for 128 meters of cliff edge ) I'm a designer myself, saved me a lot of work and they're built right. 5/5 do recommend.
