Ropeball Toy by Vavoom! (Boxed) - Toys and Accessories for Virtual Kennel Club (VKC®) Dogs - No Training Required

Wear the HUD and the (invisible) hand-held toy then click the HUD and choose a dog name. The HUD script takes over and you bend down to pick up the toy, show it to the dog who waits excitedly for you to throw it and off he goes to fetch it.

I had the immense pleasure of working with Solcar Amat who makes the petting animations for the VKC Dogs. The animation for this toy is superb. Your avatar bends down to pick up the Fuzzbee Toy, stands back up and shows it to the dog before finally throwing it for the dog to fetch. I don't know how he did it, but as the avatar waves the toy around while getting the dog excited, it looks like the sculpted prim toy is flexible like a RL ropeball toy.

It is, of course, as simple as can be to use. All you have to do is attach the two Ropeball objects, one on your screen and one in your hand. You then touch the HUD that shows on your screen, choose a dog, and the script handles everything else.

You can also choose how far to throw the toy from the Options Menu in the HUD. The ranges vary from a very modest 6 metres for when you’re in your bedroom or skybox, to an ambitious 85 metres for which you’ll need a large and script-quiet space. If you find that you threw it too far for your dog to find, there is also a Clean Up option which will remove any lost Ropeball Toys in your region.

Vavoom! Accessories for VKC Dogs are copiable, but if you do happen to lose one or more of them you can reclaim them from my store at Turing Isle using the Update Stations. Likewise from time to time when I update the toy or the code, you can get free updated versions of your Vavoom! Accessories.
