Rotating Picture Blocks consists of a frame, and a 4x4 grid of blocks for displaying images. The columns rotate, and the surface of the blocks collectively show a picture on each side, similar to billboards that you may have seen. But instead of being limited to four images (corresponding to the four displayable sides of each block), this will allow you to load up to 248 different images into the frame, and it will cycle through all images, continuously updating the display as it turns.
Loading textures is as simple as dropping them into the frame contents (only full permission textures can be used), and then issue the Reset menu command when finished. You can then start the rotation through the menu, and stop it at any time. There is also a command to let you change the number of seconds to pause at each picture before continuing.
If you decide to move the frame after it has been rezzed, the columns will move along with it automatically.
The frame itself is modifiable, so you can change the texture of it to match the decor in your personal space.
There is also a feature to let you change the communication channel, in case you need to place several frames close to each other.
Thanks to my youngest SL daughter, Curious Hazelnut, for coming up with the concept. She is very creative and I am really proud of her :)
