The ancients who lived in SL were master skybox builders. Some of the stone and earth skyboxes they constructed still exist. Here is one that is 54 prims. Simply rez it to the altitude you like. And if you want more privacy, rez the privacy sphere - which is flexi path. It will provide seclusion while you enjoy your skybox.

This is a beautiful piece of work. The Sphere works perfectly to provide privacy and the building itself is airy, wonderfully textured and lovely to just be in.

Great skybox/platform! The privacy sphere which comes with this is also great. Transparant from the inside, moon surface texture on the outside. I changed the privacy sphere to not-phantom.
