DOA Bikes - Russell Mitchell Inspired Cruiser - Wicked Moon Edition

This Custom motorcycle build was inspired by the legendary custom bike builder Russell Mitchell who founded Exile Cycles. His style is to minimize graphics, use satin finishes, and to use twist handlebars that remove the cables from the front brake and clutch making a finished bike look very clean. For more information about Russell Mitchell and his magnificent builds:

This build is a custom bike, not a replica of one of his actual builds. It is done in the DOA style which relies on discarded Japanese bikes and features a Honda V-Twin that has been lovingly restored. The spoke rims give it an instant classic look.

It has a lighting system and brake light but no room for a passenger. It's 65 prims and its release has been delayed a number of times because it's higher than the 55 prim limit DOA likes to use as a guideline but a few people have seen it and asked about it so we've stopped stalling and are making it available.

As usual for a DOA build the bike is tuned with default settings, I would definitely turn the steering rate to 1 before taking it for a ride and I'd also set the steering resistance to 30 (both options available in the menu), but other than that the bike is ready to ride.

Texture art was done by Kaz who is a fan of Russell Mitchell but seems to bring out his paint brush whenever I leave a bike sitting around.

The bike comes in Black and Purple and is fully modifiable and the textures used are included so you can make your own designs.

The scripts are not modifiable and the bike is unlockable for friends and guests but not transferrable.

The sounds are original Honda Parallel Twin Engine Sounds custom made for this motorcycle.

Menu options include the sit position for the driver, and the motorcycle can be tuned to suit your preferences via the menu by clicking on the bike.

Resize and tuning options include gear ratios, adding/subtracting gears, adjusting the turning radius, and the turning resistance, and more.

It is scripted with Karyn's amazing KCS/ACS v6 script.

Note: By default Linden Labs doesn't set object render LOD values very high. If objects (such as motorcycles) don't look right, follow these steps:
1. Press CTRL + ALT + D (to enable the advanced menu)
2. scroll down to the bottom and select Show Debug Settings
3. type in RendervolumeLODfactor
4. change the value to 6.00

Note: New Photos added, thank you Serena!
