[S2] Prim Oven

This product is the tool which converts 16 prims(*) into 1 sculpted prim.
(*) ... Block type is BOX and CYLINDER only.

But new sculpted prim does not directly appear in front of you.
At first, display and save the SCULPT MAP (an image of the rainbow color)
outside Second Life with data output by this tool.
Next, you upload the sculpt map and use to prim edition. you meet the
sculpted prim at last :)

Please note that the upload of the sculpt map costs 10L$.

REQUIREMENT TOOL (outside Second Life)
--------------------------------------------
Text Editor :
notepad, TextEdit, etc.
( Please save as PLAIN TEXT not RICH TEXT )

Internet Browser :
Internet Explorer(*), Firefox, Opera, Chrome, etc.
*IE is available for only IE8 or above.

*** Phoenix Viewer on Mac has some problems about uploading texture. If you are faced with the problem, please retry with other viewer.

HOW TO USE
--------------------------------------------
~~ BUILD ~~

STEP-01 :
Rez this tool on ground.

STEP-02 :
Click the blue button to rez the new prim.

STEP -03 :
Use prims less than 16, please make the object which you want.

~~ DATA OUTPUT ~~

STEP-04 :
Click the red button to output the sculpt map data in Local Chat window.

STEP-05 :
Drag the mouse cursor from <html> to </html> in Local Chat window to highlight
the data, and copy it to the clipboard.
( Copy operation is Ctrl + C in Windows, Command + C in Mac )

STEP-06 :
Launch Text Editor outside Second Life, paste the data into the editor.
( Paste operation is Ctrl + V in Windows, Command + V in Mac )

STEP-07 :
Save the file as plain text. Please enter the file name extension ".htm",
for example "sculpt01.htm". In this case, please be careful so that the
file name does not become the "sculpt01.htm.txt" !

STEP-08 :
Double click the file saved, and launch Internet Browser.

STEP-09 :
Save the vertically long image (rainbow color) displayed by Internet Browser.
( for example "Save as..." from right-click-menu )
File format is BMP file.


~~ UPLOAD TO SECOND LIFE ~~

STEP-10 :
Upload the image file to Second Life. Please make sure you click
"Use lossless compression" option when the preview appears.

STEP-11 :
Build a new prim on the ground. Open the edit window and select "Object"
tab, select "Sculpted" in "Building Block Type".

STEP-12 :
Drag the image data (sculpt map) from your inventory to "Sculpt Texture"
area. Then the prim change shape to your work, please resize the prim
that you want.

STEP-13 :
Select "Texture" tab in the edit window, and change the value of "Repeats
Per Face" and "Offset" as follows:

Repeats Per Face Horizontal (U) ... 4.000, Vertical (V) ... 64.000
Offset Horizontal (U) ... 0.500, Vertical (V) ... 0.500

STEP-16 :
Select the texture as you like.

PRECONDITION FOR "PRIM OVEN"
--------------------------------------------
- The number of prims is less than 16.
- Block type is BOX or CYLINDER.
- Valid parameters: Path Cut, Taper, Top Shear.
- Invalid parameters: Hollow, Hollow Shape, Twist, Slice.
- The face of the blue color of the prim twists texture.
- Prim linking is not sequential.
- This output data by a chat. Please execute at SIM where is in a light state.
- Generating the sculpt data and deleting the prim are effective in the
range of less than 20m from PRIM OVEN.
- Linked prims is a valid operation. The object which you made links, and
stores your inventory.

ABOUT TEXTURE
--------------------------------------------
16 prims are coupled to one sculpted prim. so only one texture is usable
for 16 prims. As a result, 16 prims should be expressed with the same
materials.

To express the entire surface of 16 prims with one texture as follows :

Texture tab :
Repeats Per Face Horizontal (U) ... 4.000, Vertical (V) ... 64.000
Offset Horizontal (U) ... 0.500, Vertical (V) ... 0.500

I cant believe I have been building so long without this. It does exactly what it said it would do.... Completely love it, its worth its weight in GOLD.... thank you thank you
