Wonderful boat
I took delivery of the A4 a few days ago. I`ve made a few short trips and found it`s a lovely boat; fun and easy to sail. It gets admired. Still exploring the possibilities. Excellent value for money. For those who also like nautical naughties, it`s well equipped. ( but could do with some FF animations) Possibility of adding animations with Avsitter is another advantage. I hope I will manage that somehow.
Aymec is extremely kind, helpful and generous, and seems to be quickly available.
If you are looking for a sailboat, I would highly recommend it!!!!

Builders crowning accomplishment: an Adult Cruising sailboat that is outstanding in appearance and function.
I got the SLB-A4 several weeks ago and I’ve been having all sorts of fun with it. It has a pleasing appearance complete with main sail, jib sail and spinnaker. Its best features include the animations, the excellent job it does handling sim crossings, detailed animations (open/close gate, anchor, fenders, etc) and the inboard motor. The boat comes in multiple color schemes.
Control of the boat is currently via chat text. I understand that in the near future a HUD will be added that will facilitate basic commands without needing to type in chat. The boat does not have an AutoTrim feature to control sail position. I've found the boat perfect for sailing with a companion. Excellent animations for chatting while enroute to a lovely SL destination. And, when you've arrived, more excellent animations than you could ever use - and these are very well done. There are many touches that make this a high-end craft such as dining tables that raise and lower, engine compartments that open, seats that open/close facilitating rear entry/exit, There is an optional Speed Meter (Hud that appears on your screen) as well as an optional Camera Angle selection.
You may not want to use this boat in competitive racing, but it is not designed for that. It is a cruising craft and it serves that niche very well. The author has several boats: the SLB-A3 and SLB-A2 are very worthy craft in their own right. My opinion is that the SLB-A4 is the crowning accomplishment of the builder and is really the one to get.
Bottom line is that this is a fun boat to have in your fleet, it is positioned to be your adult boat and it will not disappoint. Just think of dressing to sail, cruising among islands, then mooring in a secluded harbor or in the middle of a great sea, retiring to the cabin for some snuggles, then as the boat gently rocks in the waves, let nature take its course. I’m glad I have this craft and I think you will be too as it is well suited for its intended purpose.

here is the promised review.
I have tested the sailboat on the Rainbow Sails Cruise.
It was a very relaxed sailing even under stronger winds. Controls, commands and the AV Sitter system are very user friendly.
As a conclusion after the cruise i have to say it is really worth the money and it's a lot of fun!

wonderful sailing ship
When i was young i got to go sailing with my parents so i thought why not give it a try here too. I looked through the market and finally found this beautiful ship so i went to the inworld shop to take a look at it and maybe even try it out. Taking a closer look almost convinced me that this one was the right for me but since there was the possibility to actually try it out i thought ...why not. Me not having used a sailing ship didnt know where to start but Aymec Millet was around and i asked questions ...he stepped in and told me how to steer it and so i came to see how realistic the ship is sailing. Theres so much detail about it that you could think youre really steering a sailing ship. Since im new to sailing Aymec even took me around sailing and it was a lot smoother and i could watch and enjoy it even more while asking him a few last questions about the ship and also about how to sail. So after all im happy to have found a beautiful sailing ship for me and have to be really thankful for Aymec for his patience and help with all my questions.
